Warren Logan
District Three City Council Candidate
Warren Logan would bring his background in city planning, transportation, and urban design to the city council. The San Diego native came to the Bay Area to obtain a Master’s degree in city planning from U.C. Berkeley.
Warren worked as the Policy Director of Mobility and Interagency Relations, for former Mayor Libby Schaaf. Warren understands that economic development brings resources to the City of Oakland. His district, which includes the downtown area, is the prime location to of major businesses in Oakland, many of whom left in the past few years due to public safety concerns.
Warren has stated that public safety is essential to creating and maintaining a prosperous city. If residents and businesses do not feel safe, business will close, and city revenues will plummet. This is exactly what has happened in Downtown Oakland, and it must be reversed.
Warren is committed to a safe and prosperous Oakland. His vision includes a thriving downtown that brings jobs to our residents and resources to our city to solve the myriad problems that confront Oakland.
